A Message from Dr Sanantonio

Dear Patients,

It has been my great pleasure to serve you as well as our
community as a cardiologist for the past 35 years, having the privilege of
meeting many people and developing lifelong friendships with many patients. So
it is with mixed emotions that I am announcing my retirement from active
practice and the transfer of my patients to the Cardiovascular Institute of New
England (CINE), effective January 1st.

I am pleased that you will have the opportunity for continued cardiac care through
CINE. CINE is a 12-doctor group with subspecialties in interventional cardiology,
peripheral vascular intervention, and electrophysiology, with admitting
privileges at Miriam Hospital, Rhode Island Hospital, Roger Williams, Fatima,
Landmark, Kent and Westerly Hospital. The practice offers care at multiple
sites throughout Rhode Island. Your medical records will be safely on file at
CINE and remain confidential, as per federal law. If you decide to seek medical
care from another physician outside of CINE, a copy of your record can be
transferred, or released to you or your designee, only through your permission.

If you have an upcoming appointment scheduled with my office,
someone from CINE will be contacting you to coordinate transition of your care.
If you do not have an appointment scheduled and would like to continue your
care with CINE, you can contact a convenient office location of your choice to
set up an appointment.

Over the past four decades since finishing medical school, I have shared heartache
and joy with so many of my patients. I appreciate your loyalty and friendship
throughout the years and will take the memories of all that I have experienced with me into my retirement. Best wishes for your future health.

Sincerely,
